FlikPDF operates entirely on your local device. All PDF processing, encryption, and manipulation happen inside the app — no data is ever sent to an external server. Your documents remain under your exclusive control at all times.

Tap the "+" or import button on the home screen, then select a PDF from your device storage or use the file picker. The vault will load it instantly. You can also use your device's share menu and choose FlikPDF to open directly.

Yes. FlikPDF supports full annotation — highlighting, freehand drawing, text notes, stamps, and shape overlays. All annotations are stored locally and can be exported or stripped before sharing.

FlikPDF uses a zero-knowledge architecture. We have no access to your files, passwords, or document contents. Encryption keys are generated on-device and never leave your hardware. We cannot recover your data if you lose your device or access credentials.

Navigate to the Tools section inside the app. Select "Merge" to combine multiple PDFs into one, or "Split" to extract specific pages into separate files. All operations run locally and are completed in seconds.

FlikPDF supports conversion to and from common formats including DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, JPG, and PNG. Conversion quality is optimised for accuracy while preserving fonts and layout structure.

Yes. Use the "Encrypt" option under Tools to set a 256-bit AES password on any PDF. You can also set permission restrictions — preventing printing, copying, or editing by recipients.
